About us

Welcome to The George Guest House; we are a friendly family run guest house with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, located on Plymouth Hoe. We are within a short walking distance of all the local areas of interest and the cities amenities. A few of these include:

The Theatre Royal, Plymouth Pavilions, Drakes Circus Shopping Centre, The Historic Barbican, National Marine Aquarium, Brittany Ferries and for all you parents checking up on your offspring, at the University of Plymouth, it's a pleasant stroll or short taxi ride away.

We pride ourselves on our excellent reputation and enjoy seeing our regular guests again. Even more though we look forward to meeting our first time guests and making your stay as comfortable as possible. If there is anything we can help you with please ask.

All rooms come with;

*USB Charging points in each room
* Tea and Coffee facilities
* Parking permits are available at a cost of £5 per day for use anywhere on the Hoe area around the Guest House (Please request these before you arrive).

* Some secure parking is available, please ask about this before arriving.
