Plymouth will turn into a dazzling festive heaven to celebrate the start of the countdown to Christmas Day.
The festival and Christmas celebrations will begin on Thursday 13 November with the annual Christmas light switch-on.
Singer and Panto star, Chico, and British R&B band, Damage, have been confirmed as the special guests this year.
Taking place on Thursday 13 November outside Drake Circus from 4pm, with entertainment provided by Heart, visitors will be able to see the city centre transform with many new lighting features. The new features will replace old and outdated lights on Cornwall Street and New George Street and are expected to bring a more modern feel to Christmas.

Once the lights are turned on the city centre will be buzzing with Christmas cheer. Stiltskin Creative Arts and Theatre Company and local school children will walk through the city in a lantern parade at, some carrying giant and animated lanterns at 6.40pm.
The parade will start and end at the Plymouth Guildhall and they will walk past many Christmas features in the city centre including a real Christmas tree and outdoor ice rink on the Piazza, Santa's Grotto, operated by Ice Angels, popular snow globe and lit up bubble tree at Place de Brest.
1. Depart Plymouth Guildhall at 6.40pm
2. Go down Royal Parade to Derry's roundabout, around the central reservation back up Royal Parade turning off onto Armada Way to the left of the Big Screen
3. The parade will walk along to the sundial turning right and continuing up through the centre of New George Street
4. Through Drake Circus Mall and regroup at the top of Cornwall Street
5. The parade will then go down Cornwall Street to the Place De Brest
6. Turning left and continuing down Armada Way onto Royal Parade
7. The parade will turn left up Royal Parade to St Andrew's roundabout, around the central reservation back down Royal Parade turning off into Plymouth Guildhall where the parade will end
