The market showcases some of the best local food and drink in the South West. The market takes place between 10am and 3pm on The Green, Royal William Yard, Plymouth and will take place on the first Sunday of the month. The Good Food Markets have been a huge success, with over 30 stall holders from Devon and Cornwall in attendance, including River Cottage, Thom Hunt from Channel 4’s Three Hungry Boys, the Red Earth Kitchen, and Cornish Orchards, with many stalls regularly selling out of produce. People visiting the market in the ex-Naval Victualling Yard can travel by the Royal William Yard Ferry, from the historic Barbican, and enjoy spectacular views of Plymouth Sound and Mount Edgcumbe, Cornwall en route. The market itself enjoys views of the Sound and Royal William Harbour. If visitors want to explore more great food, in lovely surroundings, they can also retire to River Cottage Canteen & Deli, Seco Lounge, Prezzo or The Royal William Bakery for lunch. |
