Sky Ride Plymouth
The streets of Plymouth will be closed to traffic on Sunday 25 May as thousands of people are expected to take to their bikes as Sky Ride Plymouth is back for its third year running – or is that third year cycling.
One of sixteen major events taking place across the country this summer, Sky Ride Plymouth is set to be a brilliant day out. There will be extreme challenges, music and entertainment, competitions and above all, an awesome traffic-free route to ride around Plymouth Hoe, Stonehouse and the Royal William Yard.
It doesn't matter how old you are, or what sort of bike you ride or how fast you ride – at Sky Ride Plymouth there's something for everyone.
Everyone who registers for their free place online will receive a Sky Ride lanyard that unlocks a fantastic bundle of on-the-day benefits and goodies. What's more, the first 1,000 people to register on the Sky Ride website will also receive a limited edition Sky Ride gift on arrival at the event. Registration will be open soon.
If you haven't been on your bike for a while, don't worry. The bike experts at Halfords are offering a free bike safety check (worth £14.99) to everyone who registers for Sky Ride Plymouth, and they'll be there on the day to help out with any last-minute problems too.
Register on the Sky Ride website (it's free and only takes a few minutes)
