The Torpoint ferry forms a vital transport link across the Tamar (known at this location as the Hamoaze) between the town of Torpoint in Cornwall, and the city of Plymouth in Devon.

Local buses from Plymouth and rame serve the cremyll ferry, within minutes of disemabrking you can be enjoying the beauty of award winning Mount Edgcumbe Country park or exploring Rame and the vilaages of Kingsand and Cawsand, Whitsand bay or walking the South West Coast Path.

Discover Plymouth by bike. There are opportunities for traffic free and off road cycling, leisurely afternoon rides along quieter lanes, and more challenging longer distance routes.

Visit the Tourist Information Centre on the Barbican for free information on walks in Plymouth and the surrounding area. The centre also stocks a wide range of walking guides and maps for the region.
A series of new cultural trails has been produced to help people explore the landscape and discover some of its hidden gems. The trails include a variety of themes including Man and the Landscape, Trade and Settlement, Coast in Conflict, a Colourful Landscape, and Car Free days out.
