With two major regional event centres at the Pavilions and Theatre Royal visitors are promised a rich range of entertainment all year round. As a major university city Plymouth is also well established on the music circuit and most major artists play at the city at some point in the calendar.

In addition the city also boasts smaller theatres, arts centres, a multiplex cinema and ten pin bowling. The nightclub scene is also well catered for with a range of large and small venues throughout the city and two casinos.
