Luxury Country House Hotel & Restaurant is set in a 600 acre historic private estate and overlooking trout lake. The hotel offers the finest catering and accommodation in the area in both a relaxed and informal style.

The Terrace Restaurant & Bar overlooks the lake and features regional West Country produce in an attractive and contemporary presentation. Very popular with local residents, the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner all year.

The accommodation features a range of en suite rooms with all modern facilities. There are large luxury suites with extensive views over the gardens. Clubrooms offer a range of styles to suit different needs. Many rooms have king size beds.

The house is a Tudor grade II Listed Building, and was originally constructed over 500 years ago. It was extensively remodelled by a prominent Victorian landscape architect in 1827. The hallway features many original family coats of arms.

Ideally located for south Devon and Dartmoor, with Totnes, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth all within 30 minutes. Plymouth city centre is just 15 minutes and the National Marine Aquarium and the Pilgrim Fathers Steps & Sutton Harbour even closer.

Many National Trust properties can be found within 30 minutes; Saltram House, Buckland Abbey and Buckfast Abbey the most impressive. Cornwall is close by; the houses at Lanhydrock and Cothele especially memorable. Eden Project 50 minutes.
