As the cultural centre of Devon and Cornwall there is always something to enjoy in Plymouth, from amazing art to family fun and brilliant music to fabulous festivals.

Art fans and history buffs can delight in discovering not only the fascinating past of Plymouth but collections from all around the world at the Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery and nearby Peninsula Arts Gallery.

Plymouth has been the home to legendary artists such as Beryl Cook, Robert Lenkiewicz and Sir Joshua Reynolds, founder and first President of the Royal Academy. Plymouth still has a thriving art scene today- just visit the independent galleries on the Barbican to see what talented local artists are producing.
