Exhibitions

Plymouth plays host to a number of locally produced and nationally touring exhibitions throughout the year.

Venues such as Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery and Plymouth Arts Centre have a rolling programme of high quality shows on display, as do Peninsula Arts at Plymouth University and The Gallery at Plymouth College of Art.

Admission to these exhibitions is usually free and all the venues are within a short walking distance from each other so it’s easy to visit more than one in a day. The Museum and Art Gallery and the Arts Centre also have lovely cafés so you can make a day of it and get something to eat and drink too!

Venues such as the Theatre Royal, Radiant, Karst and The Council House also have exciting and original gallery programmes. These particular venues are all within walking distance of each other too. The Theatre Royal has great catering facilities and Radiant shares its space with the Rumpus Cosy tea parlour and cakery.

Multi storey car parks or on-street parking facilities are situated near all our exhibition venues. Bus links to the city centre are also fast and frequent.

Take a look below and follow the links for more information about what’s on display in the city over the next few months. New shows are added all the time as details are confirmed.
