Summer’s well and truly over and thoughts are turning to winter; wrapping up, getting cosy and looking ahead to the most wonderful time of the year. As Christmas planning commences, Las Iguanas are thrilled to reveal the Christmas menu which will host festive celebrations large and small from 30th November, throughout December and up until 11th January.

The Christmas menu has been carefully developed by our talented team of skilled chefs; all of whom love to discover unique flavours and inspiring recipes from Latin America. There is something for everyone, and a taste bud-tingling three course feast will transport diners to tropical climes. To start try Nachos Navidad, smoky Cha Cha Chorizo or zingy Smoked Salmon Tiradito. Main courses are plentiful and just as delicious and making a decision on what to have will be trickier than choosing which present to open first. Lechon Cuban Pork Belly will please any meat lover while Veggies can tuck in to Asado Verduras flame-grilled steaks of aubergine and cauliflower with creamed corn and halloumi fries (vegan option available), and veggie Chimichangas are back by popular demand. Classic Fajitas will hit all the right notes and get you fired up for the fiesta. Sirloin Steak, sustainable fish and creamy Brazilian Xinxim chicken and crayfish curry also feature.

Christmas is about indulgence so remember to save room for dessert. Enjoy sumptuous sweets such as Chocolate Brigadeiro Cheesecake; dulce de leche cheesecake topped with brigadeiro chocolate sauce and crushed malted nuts. Cinco Leche Cake is soft sponge soaked in cream, milk and arequipe with cinnamon, topped with a fluffy toasted meringue, and vegan Tembleque coconut pudding is smooth and creamy, with tropical mango and winter berries.

Several menu options are available. The Anytime menu offers two courses for £19.95 or three for £24.95, with the option to add an arrival drink for £3.95. A 2-course lunch menu is available until 4pm on selected dates for just £14.95 for a starter and a main.

For a very grown up celebration, our bottomless brunch menu will also be on offer on each Sunday in December and must be pre-booked. At £24.95 per head, the two-course menu with unlimited bubbles or beer is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit!

This Christmas Las Iguanas are proud announce their new partnership with End Youth Homelessness, an organisation which brings together 11 regional charities to tackle the UK-wide issue of youth homelessness. End Youth Homelessness focusses on homeless young people specifically and helps to provide them with the housing, education and support they need to turn their lives around. For every Christmas party booking made, Las Iguanas will donate £5, hoping to raise £20,000 this Christmas to support some of the 83,000-young people that experience homelessness in the UK every year.
