Moorland Garden Hotel

About us

The Moorland Garden Hotel sits in nine acres of private grounds on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, providing an idyllic setting for the wedding of your dreams.

With a dedicated and diligent weddings team, the Moorland Garden Hotel offers a range of wedding packages – from intimate Champagne picnics for two to big blow-out weekends for 160.  Alternatively, speak to us about a bespoke plan especially for you.

Choose an indoor or outdoor wedding (and the prerogative to change your mind to reflect the weather).  The hotel boasts three licensed rooms, including the Crystal Room ballroom complete with glistening chandeliers and garden views.

For a festival style celebration we have the picturesque Rose Arbour on the landscaped lawns and the magical wildflower meadow.  Exclusive and private use of the entire hotel is available on selected dates throughout the year; including having a marquee erected in the grounds. We can also cater for receptions if you prefer to wed in one of the nearby quaint country churches.

There is ample parking for guests and plenty of room at the inn with 40 bedrooms and four sumptuous suites to choose from. The Forget Me Not honeymoon suite comes complete with four poster bed and spacious balcony overlooking the hotel gardens. What’s more, the moorland gardens provide the perfect backdrop for the all-important wedding photos.
