About us

North Prospect Community Choir is delighted to announce its next concert on 28 October will be performed as part of Plymouth's Atlantic Project festival.

With music by Plymouth-born composer in residence Dr Adrian Hull, and lyrics by Ryan Jenkins and the children of Mayflower Community Academy, the theme of the concert is 'Sounds of the Ocean City'. The performance includes the world premiere of 'Storm', an original libretto piece based on the written poetry of children from the Mayflower Community Academy.

The concert starts at 13:00 and is free to attend with parting donations towards the choir's running costs. Please note that while the performance is free, the aquarium's standard ticket prices for the general public visiting the venue will still be in force.

Contact northprospectcommunitychoir@gmail.com for further information about the concert.

About the North Prospect Community Choir
The North Prospect Community Choir is a non-auditioned, inclusive, vibrant, fun and friendly choir, launched in 2016 with the help of a Vital Sparks grant from Plymouth City Council. The choir has over 30 committed members of various ages and backgrounds who enjoy coming together every Monday evening during term time for fun and uplifting rehearsals. At the end of every term, the choir performs a concert for the local community and these are always wonderful and well-supported events. The choir has excellent links with Mayflower Community Academy where rehearsals and concerts are held.
