Seafest at Tinside Lido

Saturday 12 September

Celebrate Seafest and a record-breaking year for Tinside Lido with a full day of family-friendly entertainment beside the pool from 12pm - 6pm.

• DJ Jozzy will bring family-friendly summer vibes to the Sun Terrace, overlooking the pool.
• Meet a mermaid in one of the lido’s small fountains.
• Look out for glowing jellyfish stilt walkers, appearing in three 45-minute performances throughout the day.
• Enjoy magical bubble displays from a fantasy-themed bubbleologist, with three 45-minute performances.
• Join three Aqua Zumba classes led by one of Tinside Lido’s instructors.
• Seafood Cooking at Tinside Lido 4pm to 6.30pm - Join Matt Corner for a live seafood cooking demonstration, showing how fantastic local seafood can be turned into simple, delicious dishes. Come along, watch Matt at work, enjoy the film and poetry, pick up some seafood cooking tips and celebrate the fishing community that continues to bring fresh local seafood ashore. Entertainment will be staggered throughout the day, so every two-hour swimming session will include a chance to enjoy the activities.

Swimming is bookable through standard public-swimming sessions, with a choice of an all-day pass or a two-hour session. Click here to book your session.

The Coffee Pod and Sun Terrace will remain open to the public as usual.

West Hoe Pier

The Plymouth Fishing & Seafood Association, in collaboration with Devon Fishing Guides, are offering a 3-hour angling session to participants of all ability levels on Saturday 12 September. The session, which runs from 4pm-7pm will be led by level 2 tri-discipline angling coach, Martyn Green, and all equipment will be provided.
