About us

Grab your bike and get that adrenaline pumping – our Tour de Moor cycling challenge is back for 2018!

If you're intrepid enough to take the rough with the smooth and pit yourself against the wilds of Dartmoor in our mixed-terrain biking event on Sunday 30 September, sign up now. Last year, places sold out fast.

Choose between our intermediate 23km route or, if you're feeling brave enough, tackle the hills up to Princetown on the 52km route, putting your cycling skills to the ultimate test.

For a more gentle, family-friendly experience try the 11km ride along Drake's Trail, suitable for anyone with a bike. A quiz en route for adults and 'mini moorers', plus selfie stops and a hot chocolate, are all included!

Sponsored by Print Copy Scan, a local supplier of printers and copiers, the Tour de Moor challenge departs from and finishes at Harrowbeer Airfield, near Yelverton, from 8.30am.

With hills and woods providing suitably tough terrain on the 23km and 52km routes, you'll be challenging yourself in one of the country's most stunning and rugged landscapes.

Not only will the Tour de Moor get your endorphins going, it makes a real difference by helping us reach more patients and families who need our compassionate care.

At home, in hospital or at our specialist unit at Turnchapel, the money you raise in sponsorship helps us to be there when it matters most.
