About us

The south west’s largest food and drink festival returns to Plymouth city centre on 31 May to 2 June 2024.

​This year, Flavour Fest is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an exciting new entertainment zone where you can kick back and relax, soak up the atmosphere of live music and enjoy some cool refreshments and amazing food.

​There will be over 80 stalls of fantastic local produce on the Piazza and The Bazaar will be offering a cultural experience with more delicious food! Watch the inspirational talks and demonstrations by top local chefs and new for this year is the free food craft workshops and a tea dance with a twist in the House of Fraser!

Demonstration Stage  

From 10am each day there will be a full programme of demonstrations and talks held in the Demonstration Stage with some of the best chefs in Plymouth and the wider region, hosted by award-winning chef Peter Gorton.

Traders 

With over 80 food traders you will be able to sample lots of tasty treats and treat yourself to some of the region’s best produce to take home, with everything from brownies and baked goods and everything in between. Don’t miss the amazing variety of street food too! From Nepalese, Caribbean, Greek and Italian cuisine to sizzling burgers and soft Bao Buns, there’ll be something for everyone.

Enjoy tasty food from City College Plymouth’s PL1 Restaurant, real Caribbean cuisine from Pimentos Bar & Grill, Roly Poly’s pulled meat boxes, pasties and burgers from The Original Pasty House, baked treats from The Early Bird or Spanish Churros from Churtopia, or a chilled pint of Bays Brewery from their bar.

Live Music  

Enjoy fantastic live music from top performers from the South West, taking place on the Civic Square (opposite Plymouth Guildhall) to help create a real summer festival vibe in the city centre. The Treasury and Trevethan Distillery will be providing a fully stocked bar, so you can relax with some cool refreshments whilst watching the live music.

Food Craft Workshops  

Bring the little ones to food craft workshops hosted on the top floor of House of Fraser. Over the three days you can join in Pasta Jewellery Crafting, Food Stamps Art and Cookie Decorating. These workshops will take place from 10am to 3pm daily (until 1.30pm on Saturday) and you can just drop in – no bookings needed.

Tea Dance  

Get involved in the Tea Dance with a Twist on Saturday 1 June from 2.30pm on the top floor of House of Fraser, hosted by Plymouth Dance. Whether you fancy brushing up on your footwork or are a complete beginner, you will be led through a variety of dance styles. No bookings needed.

The Bazaar  

Find The Bazaar at Sundial Square for a celebration of culture. Alongside delicious traders, enjoy live music, dance performances, and interactive workshops that honours the diverse backgrounds and traditions within Plymouth.

Come and see the new MG4 Electric at this year’s Flavour Fest. The Vospers team are looking forward to meeting you and showing you this incredible new car! You can also book yourself in for test drive and be in the chance of winning a hamper! Come and see the Vospers team, near the sundial all weekend.
