Royal William Yard
The Grade 1 former Royal Naval victualling buildings are coming alive with cafes, bars, restaurants and galleries.
Eating out at Royal William Yard
With its Grade I listed former Naval buildings and stunning views over the Waterfront, Plymouth’s Royal William Yard is fast becoming one of the most stylish places to dine in the city.
With the endorsement of celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall opening his new River Cottage Canteen in the listed Brewhouse building in 2011, Royal William Yard’s position as a real gourmet hotspot was confirmed. The Canteen itself serves up a delicious menu of locally sourced, sustainable produce and also features a deli stocked with a fantastic range of ingredients to take home with you.
For al fresco dining, Royal William Yard can’t be beaten - whether its Italian cuisine or quality pub grub, everything tastes better when eaten outdoors looking out over the water.
