About us
The RECLAIM THE FRAME: VINTAGE season on the theme of Women and Obsession is here!Join us on Thursday 25 July from 6pm at Plymouth Arts Cinema for a double bill of two unique and under-screened female-made thrillers from the 80s - DANCE WITH A STRANGER (written by Shelagh Delaney) and SMOOTH TALK (directed by Joyce Chopra) then a creative workshop around the theme of Obsession, tapping into one's own obsessive capacities!
There'll be an interval discussion led by Oscar-winning filmmaker Mia Bays with panel guests plus a post screening workshop, hosted by the award winning poet Be Manzini where you can explore your own objects of obsession.
Join us for just one or both films - if you book for both you'll benefit from a double bill discount meaning you can see both films for just £10!
This event is part of Film Feels: Obsession, a UK-wide cinema season, supported by the National Lottery and BFI Film Audience Network. Explore all films and events at www.filmfeels.co.uk.
