Eating Out

Plymouth benefits from being surrounded by both the bountiful sea and some of the most fertile land in the country. Everything from beef, game, pork and poultry through to fruit and vegetables are reared and grown right on our doorstep. And being surrounded by the sea, our boats land the freshest lobsters, crabs and all manner of fish on a daily basis. Most restaurants, pubs, bars, bistros, cafes and tea rooms take full advantage of our award winning local suppliers who are also often to be found at our regular farmers' markets and as part of our Food Festival - Flavourfest.

Be it a pasty and a pint (brewed locally!), a seafood platter, an organic beefburger, a Devonshire cream tea or just a delicious ice cream - as you explore our waterfront and cultural heritage, Plymouth has everything needed to wet your appetite.
