Mark your calendars for Saturday 23 August 11am to 4pm for a jam-packed day of FREE family entertainment. Immerse yourself in all the sights, sounds and smells of the carnival in the vibrant West End of Plymouth City Centre.

Thousands of people are expected to flock to the city centre to the West End Carnival.

Brought to you by the Plymouth City Centre Company, expect to see circus performers including jugglers, fire eater, stilts walker, unicyclist and fortune teller, live music, dancers, FREE face painting, children’s rides, and vintage cars.

On the main stage, music will include performances from Elements Plymouth Taiko Drumming, the Plymouth Rock Choir singing uplifting, upbeat pop and rock music and Manuka Groove playing their infectious energy and diverse covers. There will also be a World Music Stage with Heyday Events. Expect to see a global sound journey led by the incredible Leonie, our vinyl DJ with a crate full of rare gems and timeless classics. From Afrobeat to Latin grooves, reggae rhythms to Eastern melodies, Leonie spins the best records from around the world, creating an irresistible soundtrack that gets every corner of the globe dancing. 

There will be over 30 stalls selling gifts and accessories, sweet treats, speciality coffee, clothing and craft activities to enjoy.
