About us

Join us for the next talk in our Future Challenges Series on Tuesday, 24th March (12.30pm), which will focus on what we can do to reduce the carbon emissions from heating.

Jon Selman, Low Carbon City Officer at Plymouth City Council, and Dan Turner, Renewables Project Manager at Plymouth Energy Community (PEC), will be discussing ways to reduce the impacts of heating on climate change.

Jon and Dan will talk about heating innovation in Plymouth, including PEC working alongside Plymouth City Council as partners in an exciting new project from the Interreg France (Channel) England Programme called SunPeople.

The talk is part of the Athenaeum's Future Challenges Series, in which we are partnering with organisations including the RSA, Plymouth City Council, Plymouth Energy Community, Fotonow (CIC), Art and Energy, and Environment Plymouth to host a series of talks focusing on local, national and global challenges.

Entry is free and open to the public.
