About us
In this three day Summer course for children aged 9-14, you will learn multiple art and design techniques and produce new art works to take home. Following on from our July club, this course will have a water theme but all new activities, celebrating Plymouth's links with the water and coast.
Art forms will include;
Ships on the water, detailed sketching and using markers with ink to create vibrant images (on location at the Barbican if weather allows)
Animation (TBC)
Water celebration or god/myth mask making
Drawing
Photocollage
Fashion design
Each day you will be taught a new art, design or media technique as your main activity and have several other activities throughout to keep you entertained all day long.
All you need to bring is a packed lunch as everything else will be in the studio ready for you. Lunch breaks are taken with us onsite.
