Style Plymouth is back on the 17 - 18 March, with live fashion shows on the Saturday and Sunday, opportunities to try out beauty treatments in the heart of the City Centre and a 'man creche' in front of the big screen where live 6 Nations Rugby will be screened, this is the perfect weekend to indulge your inner fashionista!
Sky Ride Plymouth in May hopes to see thousands of cyclists of all ages and abilities out on their bikes. The ride will take in the city's famous waterfront, riding past iconic landmarks such as Smeaton's Tower. The 8km route will take riders from the Hoe Promenade past iconic landmarks. We will add details of the final route here once they have been finalised.
Plymouth has been chosen to host the spectacular and ever popular National Armed Forces Day in 2012. The event on 30th June will be a unique opportunity to see the armed forces up close and pay tribute to our heroes past, present and future.
Every year, Plymouth plays host to a wide range of exhilarating and visuall stunning sailing events. 2012 celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Plymouth Classic Boat Rally taking place 27-30th July, the Port of Plymouth Regatta happens on 21-29th July and the Marine City Festival from 8-16th September.
Keep your eyes open for a number of other exciting events in Plymouth over the summer, including the British Fireworks Championships, Flavour Fest, Plymouth International Book Festival, Music of the Night and a collection of events throughout the year to celebrate Plymouth University's 150 year anniversary.
