Avast me hearties! Enjoy two days of swashbuckling fun with plenty of activities for the entire family at Pirates Weekend!
Organised by the Plymouth Waterfront Partnership Business Improvement District, Pirates Weekend takes place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 May across the Barbican, Sutton Harbour and the Waterfront.
Visitors can expect two days packed full of entertainment and activities, including a pirate trail, shanty bands, storytellers, puppet shows, arts and crafts activities, street entertainment and much more.
Two tall ships, The Olga and Pilgrim of Brixham, will be moored for the duration of the weekend, inviting visitors to hop on board for free. Olga is an original Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter, built in 1909, and the Pilgrim was built at the yard of J.W. & A. Upham in Brixham in 1895 and is the oldest surviving sailing trawler that was built and rigged in the port!
The Mount Batten Centre and Plymouth Youth Sailing Pirates will be offering both Sailing and Rafting Experiences during Pirates Weekend.
Get your Jolly Rogers at the ready and join us at Pirates Weekend, where we'll celebrate Plymouth's rich maritime history and we invite you to immerse yourself in a weekend full of pirate-themed fun and entertainment!
