Coach Information
The seven bay coach station is run by National Express and serves all scheduled city-to-city long distance services such as National Express, Megabus and the South West Falcon.
There is an 89-space car park with blue badge holder bays, and drop off and pick up taxi/private hire bays.
The site can be accessed by car from Mayflower Street and on foot by Armada Way.
Visitor / Tourist Coaches
Pick up and drop off locations are provided at:
Derry’s Cross Roundabout – PL1 1EU
Bus stops along Royal Parade eastbound (shop side) are now closed for improvement works on the Royal Parade. During this time, all bus stops on Derry’s Cross will be used as a temporary stops for the local buses, including the stop currently used by the coach operators (outside the Premier Inn). Therefore, coach operators cannot use any of their usual stops at Derry’s Cross during this time. Instead, they can use the following alternative locations to set down and drop off passengers, until completion of works:
- Royal Parade outside the Theatre Road (Stop A8)
- Charles Street outside the University of Art and Design, opposite Drake Circus shopping mall
- Eastern end of Exeter Street Viaduct, in front of The Barcode.

Mayflower Steps – PL1 2LR
- Maximum waiting time 15 minutes
- Single on road coach bay
The Barbican, Lambhay Hill coach parking area
- 3- bay coach parking area at the foot of Lambhay Hill with 2- hour maximum stay payable by cash or card at the machine
Millbay Docks – PL1 3EW
- Coaches can pick up Cruise Liner passengers from Millbay Docks if they are meeting a Cruise Liner.
Plymouth Coach Station – PL1 1HZ
Designed for long distance scheduled services but visiting coaches can be accommodated by contacting National Express in advance
