Dartmoor Prison Museum*

Located just yards from the iconic Dartmoor Prison, Dartmoor Prison Museum is based in the old Prison farm dairy and is spread out over two floors with numerous different galleries to explore. Visitors can learn about how the Prison came into existence and the types of prisoners the prison currently houses – it may not be all you believe!

*Dartmoor Prison Museum is now closed for winter, and will reopen again on Saturday 10 February.

   

Elizabethan House*

Discover one of the longest-standing buildings in Plymouth at the Elizabethan House. The fascinating building was constructed in the late 1500s now is a discovery centre, telling stories of the people of Plymouth throughout the generations across the past 400 years.
