Terms and Conditions

1. There will be one (1) winner, with a prize consisting of a Family stay at the Duke Of Cornwall Hotel, a Family Ticket on a Plymouth Boat Trips Cruise and a Fish and Chip Platter at The Boathouse.

2. Tickets cannot be exchanged for any other product, or for any other monetary equivalent.

3. The prize is for the winner only and cannot be donated to any third party. Should the Event Organiser find that tickets have been sold/donated to a third party, the organiser reserves the right to refuse entry.

4. Any additional items must be covered by yourself.

5. The Event Organiser (s) reserve the right to exchange the prize at any time pursuant to any changes to the event format.

6. All ticket holders must abide by provider's terms of entry.

7. To enter you must answer the question and fill in your details on the competition page.

8. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

9. Only one (1) entry per person. Multiple requests and completed forms count as one entry.

10. Entries close at 11.59pm on Tuesday 19 August.

11. The winner will be selected and contacted on Wednesday 20 August.

12. The winners will be notified directly via the email address supplied.

13. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 48 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

14. Travel, parking and any supplements or additions not otherwise stated in the prize are not included.

15. Entrants have the option to opt-in to receive further news from Visit Plymouth and competition partners Plymouth Boat Trips, The Boathouse and The Duke of Cornwall Hotel.

16. We reserve the right to select an alternative winner in the event that we have reasonable grounds for believing that a selected winner has contravened any of these Terms.

17. We reserve the right to terminate the competition at any point. Our decision is final with respect to any aspect of the competition, including the determination of any winners

Plymouth Boat Trips

• This Family Voucher (2 adults and 2 children) can be used against all below trips:
  • 1-Hour Scenic Cruise
  • 2-Hour River Yealm or Coastal Explorer Cruise
  • 5-Hour Calstock Cruise
• Sorry, this prize is not valid on any of our Ferry, Fishing or Party Night Services.
• Vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from end of competition period..
• No change or value remaining on a voucher can be held or refunded.
• All Vouchers are non-refundable once and have no physical cash value so cannot be exchanged or refunded by the recipient.
• Although our vouchers are valid for 1 year from date of purchase, please be aware that most of our services are seasonal and only operate from April to October.
  • It is therefore the customers responsibility to check the timetable information if purchasing for a particular cruise, trip, event or service.
• Vouchers are strictly non-refundable. Expiry dates are fixed and cannot be extended due to the unavailability of specific trips during the voucher period.
• All cruises and trips are subject to weather, minimum passenger numbers and therefore may be subject to change at short notice during off-peak periods. Please see Cruising Terms & Conditions for full information.
• By accepting this prize, you automatically agree to our Company Terms & Conditions.
• This prize is non-transferable and can only be booked by the competition winner.

The Boathouse

• Competition Prize: Fish & Chip Platter - served family style for a family of 4 people (2 adults and 2 children)
• All Vouchers are non-refundable and have no physical cash value so cannot be exchanged or refunded by the recipient.
• No change or value remaining on a voucher can be held or refunded.
• Vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from end of competition period
• This prize is non-transferable and can only be booked by the competition winner.
• Any extras or drinks are to be settles at the end of the meal.

Duke of Cornwall Hotel

• Family stay (2 adults, 2 children) BB with no dinner, subject to availability, and must be booked before the end of September.
