Late Night Shopping
From Thursday 13 November, many shops will be staying open until 9pm every Thursday for Late Night Shopping.
The busiest times are expected to be weekday lunchtimes and weekends. Some shops will also be opening earlier particularly in Drake Circus. If you want to beat the queues or avoid the crowds, it's advised to head into town early or late in the day.
Drake Circus
From 13 November more than 40 stores at Drake Circus will be staying open until 9pm on Thursdays. More details coming soon.
Parking
There are over 50 car parks and more than 5,200 parking spaces in Plymouth. 19 of these car parks are situated in and around the city centre, varying from short term and long term stays.
Late night shoppers can park at the Western Approach car park for just £1 from 3pm every Thursday from 13 November to 18 December. (Normal charges will apply at all other times.)

Park & Ride
There are 3 park and ride sites in Plymouth, these services depart from stops A14 on Royal Parade.
This is a great option if you plan on spending the whole day shopping to avoid paying for all day city parking.
Free bus travel for Christmas
Shoppers will be able to catch the bus between the Coypool park and ride and Plymouth city centre for free every Thursday evening and Sunday in the run-up to the big day.
There will be free travel on the Service 200 every Thursday evening and Sunday from the Christmas lights switch-on on Thursday 13 November until Sunday 21 December.
- On Thursday evenings the offer will apply from the 3.55pm departure from Coypool until the 8.35pm departure from the city centre (Union Street 1)
- On Sundays there will be free travel all day between the 9am departure from Coypool and the 5pm departure from the city centre (Union Street 1)
