Rockfish Plymouth complete refurb and reopening now complete
27th March 2017
Rockfish Sutton harbour has reopened its doors after a major refit.
The seafood restaurant founded by South West chef and food writer Mitch Tonks has become a firm favourite in Plymouth’s dining scene. Adjacent to the Plymouth fish market, overlooking the harbour and next door to the National Marine Aquarium, the city’s seafood corner goes from strength to strength.
The restaurant boasts a new bar area and outside tables with waiter service for drinking and eating. Inside not only are there extended views and a fresh new look so that more of the harbour and sea can be seen and enjoyed but the kitchen also is newly equipped and seafood can be cooked a la plancha and on chargrills. Families are welcomed with the exclusive Rockfish ‘squid packs’ available for all youngsters. Mitch Tonks says,
“I love having a restaurant in Plymouth. It is a brilliant city by the sea and we get to work with some of the best fish in the world. The dining scene in Plymouth out is incredibly vibrant and we love being part of it.”
