Easter family fun in Plymouth city centre
1st April 2019
There’s lots of free fun for families to enjoy in Plymouth city centre this Easter, with craft workshops for children and a ‘Cel-eggrity’ Easter Egg Hunt.
From 8 to 12 April, the Cel-eggrity Easter Egg Hunt will see hundreds of mini chocolate eggs up for grabs in shops around the city centre.
There are 16 locations to find, all marked with a popular children’s character, where you can collect a mini chocolate egg.
The mini chocolate eggs will be given out on a first come, first served basis and a trail map can be downloaded from the Visit Plymouth website or collected from the Central Library to help young egg hunters find them all.
Steve Hughes, Chief Executive of Plymouth City Centre Company said: “We’re delighted to be able to provide lots of free activities for families to enjoy around Easter this year, and hope it encourages people to explore new areas of our fantastic city centre.”
Plymouth City Centre Company has also partnered with The Creation Station to run three free craft workshops for children during the Easter holidays:
- The Ground Coffee House, Beckley Point, Tuesday 9 April, 11am to 3pm
- Rumpus Cosy, Derry’s Cross, Friday 12 April, 11am to 3pm
- House of Fraser, Ground Floor, Wednesday 17 April, 11am to 3pm
The workshops are suitable for children aged 2 to 11 years of ages and will include making Easter crowns, building characters out of Play-Doh and decorating eggs and Easter masks.
