Winter Wonderland set to return to Central Park for 2025

Plymouth is set to sparkle brighter than ever this Christmas, as Plymouth’s Winter Wonderland returns to Central Park, promising a truly magical celebration for everyone in the city and beyond. The much-loved festival is returning for an extended season, running from Friday, 21st November 2025, through to Sunday, 4th January 2026. This year's Winter Wonderland promises to be even more dazzling, with a host of festive delights for all ages.

Step into a Winter Wonderland of twinkling lights, festive music, and Christmas cheer - perfect for making memories and for family photos. Here’s what’s to come: Undercover Real Ice Rink Lace up your skates and glide under the canopy of twinkling lights to the sounds of festive music.

Enjoy 45min skating sessions, complete with twinkling lights, festive tunes and a daily Christmas disco! Our expert Ice Marshalls will assist you in getting on the ice and having fun in a safe environment. Skate aids are pre-bookable this year to ensure that your little ones are catered for and will have a fantastic time on the ice.

The first session on Tuesdays until the school holidays is a quiet session. During this time, the music will be turned off and the lights will be fixed to one colour with no flashing effects. Santa's Enchanted Grotto Take a truly magical journey through the North Pole to the Enchanted Forest and to the Elves’ Workshop before meeting Father Christmas himself and receiving a special gift for the children.

The Ski Lodge New this year is the Alpine Ski Lodge featuring an indoor and outdoor bar area, covered seating and live entertainment stage.

Feel the festive vibes under the glow of 1000s of Christmas lights in the new-look, heated undercover venue. The Alpine Lodge is at the heart of Winter Wonderland, featuring a variety of musicians, choirs and character appearances, performing on stage throughout the season. Warm up with a drink and some hot food, sit back, relax, and soak up the festive atmosphere in comfort, whatever the weather.

Festive Food & Drink Stalls Indulge in a comforting variety of seasonal treats from local vendors. From authentic German sausages, great burgers & fries, fantastic Greek delights and warming festive fruit crumbles to delicious hot chocolates topped with marshmallows & a flake and even your favourite tipple, there’ll be something for everyone to indulge those yearnings for a real festive treat.

Fairground Rides Get ready for more thrilling adventures for all the family! This year sees an expansion of the fairground area with more rides and attractions for all ages.
