About us

A one-day event, combining displays of collectable items, with winning Wessex Philatelic Federation competition entries, and information related to the Mayflower story.

There will also be over 20 dealers selling collectables, and representatives from Argyll Etkin Ltd (a philatelic auction House) available to provide valuations.

Stanley Gibbons Ltd. will also attend. Plymouth was his birthplace in 1840 and he started trading in stamps around 1856 at Treville Street.

Plymouth Philatelic Society was established in the late Victorian era, and has held many similar exhibitions and fairs, including Armada 400 in 1988 and Mayflower 350 in 1970.
