The Plymouth City Centre Company, in partnership with a host of local businesses, have organised a week of FREE fun activities for everyone to enjoy during October half term.

  

Follow a spooky trail

Starting on Saturday 21 October, you can follow the Halloween Trail to be in with a chance to win one of three £50 Smyths Vouchers. Use the map to locate 15 spooky Halloween characters hidden in city centre shop windows. Once you’ve found them all, scan the QR code and complete the online form to enter.

You can pick up a trail map at Central Library or download at the Halloween Trail webpage

The Halloween Trail finishes on Monday 30 October.

  

Get crafty this Halloween

In partnership with the Barbican Theatre, drop in to one of the Halloween Craft Workshops and have a go at making witches hats, pumpkin decorations and Halloween crowns. All workshops are FREE to attend and booking not required. Just drop in and get creative!

Workshop sessions run 10am-2pm at following locations

  • 24 October – Las Iguanas, The Barcode
  • 25 October – Central Library, Armada Way
  • 26 October – Baby’roo, Armada Way

Have a go at Undokai

Fancy having a go at Japanese Undokai? Ahead of the main event in November, the Barbican Theatre are running a taster of what’s to come on the Piazza on Thursday 26 October.

The Plymouth Undokai project is all about bringing people together to have fun and play games. Join in and play traditional Undokai team activities, the kind you might play at a sports day or fair, but with a twist! Add your own ideas to develop brand new games. 

   

Join a Halloween Party

On Saturday 28 October, put on your favourite costume and join Plymouth Market for their Spook-tacular Halloween Party. Come along between 11am-3pm. Get your dance on

Join Toby Gorniak MBE on Saturday 28 October, Place de Brest for his Halloween themed “Come Dance With Me” dance workshop. Starting at 1pm, Toby will be ready to dance with you or jam to the music alongside you.

This unique experience is a celebration of the power of dance and the joy it brings to all who join in. Everyone welcome no matter your age, background, or dance experience, this event is your opportunity to be part of something outstanding.
