Enjoy some tasty treats

You're in for a treat at this year’s Christmas Market – get ready to have your taste buds tickled! Food is a big part of the market, so it’s worth arriving hungry. Start with something savoury from Market Sheds, serving Greek wraps and gyros, or BP Brothers’ Mexican tacos and nachos. Afro Plates adds African flavours, while Koreanese and Burmese Street Food offer spicy and vegan options. For sweets, Rogali France has crêpes, doughnuts and waffles, Fowkes Catering serves luxury hot chocolate and doughnuts, and Glitzy Girls Sweet Treats offers chocolate-dipped waffles and fruity skewers. Early Bird rounds it off with baked goods and cakes you can take home

Visit the German Bar

When you’re ready for a sit‑down and a drink, head for the German Bar. It’s a good place to pause between browsing, catch some of the atmosphere and warm up with a festive tipple away from the main flow of people. It's nundercover too, so it does not matter if the weather is not perfect!

Check out the live entertainment

The entertainment programme at this year’s Plymouth Christmas Market gives you a good reason to linger a little longer on the Piazza. Local school choirs, community choirs and youth groups share the stage with bands, acoustic acts and even a steel band across the full run, so there’s usually something happening while you shop or stop for a drink. It’s worth checking the programme before you visit if you’d like to time your trip with a particular act, or you can simply see who’s on when you arrive and build your food and shopping around the live music.

Spend time with loved ones

Why not make it extra special and come along with your loved ones to create some unforgettable Christmas memories! There are plenty of things that the little ones will love such as the stilt walkers and fairground. If you are looking to make it a social evening, make sure to visit the licensed German bar. Enjoy a festive spiced hot mulled wine or cider - if that’s not your tipple, there are plenty of other refreshments to choose from including beers, wine, spirits plus a wide choice of delicious food to tuck into.

Owning a listed building, I needed a sensitive approach to upgrading my windows. The secondary glazing solutions at https://scottjameswindows.co.uk/listed-building-secondary-glazing/ were perfect. They provided an effective way to improve thermal efficiency and noise reduction without compromising the building’s historical integrity. The craftsmanship and respect for the original structure were evident in their work.
