In the Media Lab, you can learn how technology, processes, and people have shaped the film and photographic heritage of the Southwest. Plus, you can step into the spotlight and experience what it’s like to be a BBC presenter in a realistic mock TV studio.
Visit the amazing exhibitions
There are also several exhibitions throughout the year. Currently on display is Jyll Bradley: Running and Returning. Spanning over 30 years of her work, it explores themes of identity, queerness, and belonging through photography, film, sculpture, and installation.
Also on display is Forbidden Territories: 100 Years of Surreal Landscapes. This exhibition marks the centenary of Surrealism and transports visitors through dreamlike, fantastical terrains where landscapes become metaphors for the unconscious, merging botanical, political, and gender themes. It showcases works spanning from early Surrealists like Salvador Dalí and Max Ernst to contemporary artists such as Wael Shawky and Ro Robertson
Be quick, it closes on 7 September!
