The Colour of Dinosaurs 28 - 1 November, The Drum
Have you ever wondered what a dinosaur might do in a day? Or what they actually looked like? What colour were they? Were they really green like they are in the movies?
Dr Jakob Vinther, the famous palaeontologist, changed the world with his mind-blowing scientific discovery when he figured out what colour dinosaurs actually were. Now Dr Jakob swaps the lab for the stage alongside 5 musicians, who through catchy tunes and soaring stories, learn all about Jakob’s roarsome discovery!
The Colour of Dinosaurs brings the story of Jakob’s extraordinary science to life and celebrate everyone’s identities, including disability, cultural identity, and of course, how much we all love dinosaurs!

A Tale of Us, 30 – 31 October, The Lab
Sleep is like an old friend I’ve not seen for a long time. She’s stopped returning my calls. But some nights feel sort of magic. Just you and me watching a new day being born.
Ivy’s just had a baby. She’s never felt so full of love – or so alone. A funny, frank and magical new play for parents and their babies, blending drama and multi-sensory playtime in a relaxed and beautifully designed environment.
After each performance there will be a guided Stay and Play session – a chance for everyone to explore the world of the show and meet other parents and babies.
Age guideline: 0–18 months. Find out more about A Tale of Us at the Theatre Royal Plymouth
King Arthur, Saturday 01 November, The Lyric
Camelot is in trouble. King Arthur knows that if he doesn’t turn things around, this civilisation will be forgotten, and be known as nothing more than a rather dull time in British history. But when three hapless squires approach him about changing that legacy… a legend is born.
Teaming up with one of UK theatre’s best comedy writers and directors, John Nicholson (Peepolykus), award-winning funny men Le Navet Bete (The Three Musketeers, Treasure Island, Dracula: The Bloody Truth) are back with a brand-new laugh-out-loud show for the ages.
A comedy for the whole family, this hilarious retelling of the Arthurian legends will have audiences crying with laughter and become part of the legend themselves!
Age guideline: 8+
