Buckland Abbey 

Seafaring Easter Egg Hunt at Buckland Abbey 

28 March-19 April. 10am-4pm 

Set sail for Buckland Abbey this Easter and join us for an Easter Egg hunt around the Buckland Seas. Don't forget to watch out for sea monsters on your journey.

Historic Cooking

Join our historical cooking team as they explore the seasons and festivals of the year in Buckland Abbey's kitchen.

It's All About Status: A Costume Exhibition

We'll be showing off the talents of our skilled Costume volunteers through exploring the clothing worn by Tudor society.

Wembury 

Community litter pick 

Last Monday of each month (April-June). 10-11am 

Enjoy this beautiful beach whilst helping us to keep this special place clean and tidy. Litter pickers, bags and bin rings will be provided.

Dragonfly explorer trail at Wembury 

1 April-1 October. 10am-4pm 

Can you spot all the dragonflies? Discover an exciting new trail created in partnership with local community groups at Mill Meadow.

Dawn chorus walk at Aymer Cove 

4 May. 5-8am 

Join us for a dawn chorus walk with ecologist Dr Ken Neal to learn more about the birds that live on our coastline.

Greenway 

Easter egg hunt at Greenway

Buzz your way around the activities and soak up the blossom this Easter, discovering fascinating facts and more.

Festival of Blossom at Greenway 

1-30 April. 10.30am-4pm 

From magnolias blooming overhead to an abundance of fruit trees and wild hedgerow flowers, the arrival of spring blossom is one of Greenway garden's highlights.

'Voices of the garden' immersive audio trail at Greenway 

1 April-1 November. 10.30am-4.30pm 

Step back in time on an exciting new trail, 'Voices of the garden' as, HistoryScapes, an immersive audio app, brings Greenway’s garden to life.

Overbecks 

Guided Garden Tour 2026 

Every Wednesday (April-October). 11am-12noon 

Our gardeners will take a small group of visitors on a tour of the garden, offering their knowledge of the horticultural delights, and some of the methods used to make this garden grow.

Coleton Fishacre 

Easter egg hunt at Coleton Fishacre 

21 March-19 April. 10.30am-4.30pm 

Explore the garden at Coleton Fishacre as it wakes up from the winter sleep, ticking off the activities and discovering fun facts along the way.

Little Acorns at Coleton Fishacre 

Every Wednesday (term-time only). 9.30-11.30am 

Little Acorn sessions are suitable for children under 5 years old. Welly walks, activities and admission are all free. As these walks take place before opening hours, please meet at the Café.

Nature explorers: Getting to know Barn Owls 

27 May. 1.30-3.30pm 

From learning about Barn Owl habitats and conservation, to how the extreme weather and climate change can affect them and getting a look into the feeding habits with pellet analysis, join them, for a fascinating talk on all things Barn Owl.

Monthly guided walks by the coast 

First Friday of the month. (April-December). 10.30am-1pm 

Join the volunteer walking team on a free guided walk every month.

Festival of Blossom at Coleton Fishacre 

1-30 April. 10.30am-4.30pm 

Wander the garden and spot all the different types of blossom in bloom at Coleton Fishacre. Try your hand at writing a blossom haiku or tanka poem with the blossom poetry cards.

Guided mindulness walk 

13 & 29 April. 2-2.30pm 

Embrace the arrival of spring blossom with a guided mindfulness walk in the garden at Coleton Fishacre.
