Spring markets are returning across Plymouth, bringing outdoor stalls, indoor venues and a great mix of local makers. Take a look at what’s on below. 

Flavour Fest 

Friday 29 to Sunday 31 May 2026 | Plymouth City Centre 

Over three days, Plymouth city centre becomes home to Flavour Fest, the South West’s largest free food and drink festival. Armada Way and the Piazza fill with street food traders serving flavours inspired by cuisines across the globe, alongside talented local producers showcasing the best of the region.

Visitors can enjoy live chef demonstrations, giving a closer look at skills and techniques, plus a programme of live entertainment that adds to the festival atmosphere throughout the weekend.  The weekend brings a large‑scale showcase of Plymouth’s food and drink scene to the heart of the city.

Old Town Street Arts, Crafts and Food Fair 

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April, then one weekend a month throughout the year  | Old Town Square  

Set in Old Town Square, the Street Arts, Crafts and Food Fair will fill the Square with independent artists, skilled makers and food traders. Expect handcrafted jewellery, original artwork, ceramics, textiles and tasty street food.  

Native Makers Spring Makers Market 

Saturday 2 May |  Market Hall, Devonport 

The Native Makers Spring Makers Market brings together more than 40 makers from across the South West. Inside this striking space, you will find handmade ceramics, jewellery, prints and design‑led gifts, alongside food, drink and immersive experiences. 

Good Food and Craft Market 

Sunday 3 May, then first Sunday of each month | Royal William Yard 

The Good Food & Craft Market brings together artisan food, local producers and standout handmade goods, all set against the waterfront at Royal William Yard.  

The May market marks the first outdoor event of the year and takes over several spaces across the Yard, including the Green, the Melville Building, the courtyard and the arcade, giving visitors plenty to explore. 

It’s a relaxed, welcoming event that is easy to turn into a full day out, with bars, restaurants and scenic harbour walks close by. For those looking to explore further, the Cremyll Ferry offers an easy trip across to Mount Edgcumbe, where visitors can enjoy the grounds and historic house. 

Plymouth Market 

Open year‑round | Cornwall Street 

Open six days a week, this historic market does not wait for a season. Through spring and summer, it becomes the go‑to place for fresh food, street eats and independent traders. A constant presence, and a place where local life plays out every day.
