This October, An Ode to Dessert places the elegance of the final course at the heart of a limited-edition tasting experience. Discover the imaginative menu at MICHELIN-Starred and 4 AA Rosette restaurant Àclèaf, tucked within the historic surroundings of Boringdon Hall near Plymouth.

Available from 13th to 18th October 2026 and created to mark National Dessert Day on 14th October, the menu offers just six evenings to savour this distinctive Devon dining experience.

Across six beautifully crafted dishes, sweetness leads from the very first course, with warmth, texture, acidity, richness and savoury depth coming together in unexpected ways to surprise with every plate.

“In honour of National Dessert Day, we’re celebrating the final course with our new tasting menu, An ode to dessert. We've homed in on the natural sweetness of each ingredient to create dishes that feel beautifully balanced and perfectly suited to the occasion.” - John Brimicombe, Head Pastry Chef, Àclèaf

Guests can expect inventive combinations, from doughnut with Gruyère and fig to celeriac with miso and caviar, before moving through Harrogate Blue with apple, pistachio with white chocolate and maple, duck egg with pear and cinnamon, and Nicolas Berger chocolate with date. Familiar flavours are reimagined, beautiful ingredients given new life, and every detail placed with purpose.

Six evenings only

An ode to dessert will be served at Àclèaf from 13th to 18th October 2026, with reservations available between 6:30pm and 9:30pm. This limited-edition menu is priced at £130 per person, available for the whole table only.

Reserve your table at Àclèaf and let dessert take the lead this October.
