Challenge yourself at Clip n Climb Plymouth

Did you know that bouldering world cup champion Shauna Coxey first tried climbing at the age of 4yrs? You're never too young to try! 

Why not challenge yourself and your friends at Clip n Climb Plymouth this summer? Located adjacent to the beautiful Bircham valley nature reserve in Plymouths iconic Ship building in Derriford, their indoor climbing fun is accessible for all ages and experience levels from ages 4 years+. 

Clip n Climb's fantastic climbing area holds 38 walls, all with an individual set of challenges on each wall. The challenges vary in difficulty, as well as height, making them appropriate for all abilities - whether you're an experience climber or a complete beginner! Smaller walls are perfect for the little ones, or for you to build your confidence before venturing onto new challenges. 

Challenges

Take on your friends on Speed Climb, allowing you to challenge yourself and others to race, get a personal best, challenge our instructor records, or even make the speed climb wall of fame!

Look out for Twister, a multi-coloured climb with two sides & a twist. One side is much harder than the other although they look completely identical.

Ascend the Stairway to Heaven - more of a mental challenge than a physical one - it's sure to test your balance and your nerve. 

Face the biggest wall of all, the Big Cheese! The 10.8 metre-high wall is the biggest of its kind, standing higher than any other challenge in a European Clip n Climb. 

Only the toughest can take on Orbital, one of the hardest climbs. This moving wall requires pre-planning, determination and focus, as well as a good sense of balance. 

Test out your bravery with the Leap of Faith. Climb the ladder to the 20-foot-high flatform before launching, superman style, on to the punchbag! This challenge can be tailored to different ability and confidence levels. 

Are you strong enough to hold on to the top of the Drop Slide? A test of strength and nerves, you'll ascend 30 feet before sliding back down! 

Toddler Sessions

This August sees the launch of new toddler family sessions, perfect for children aged 2 - 4 years old. They can climb every Thursday morning at 10am in August, so all family members can climb together. 

SEN Sessions 

It’s all about inclusion at Clip n Climb. Look out for their SEN sessions every Wednesday morning at 10am throughout August, where all members of the family can climb together.

Cafe 

Visit ‘4degrees West’ Café for a coffee, slice of cake and a chat with Clip n Climb's friendly staff. A selection of cakes, hot & cold drinks, paninis and baguettes are on offer. Seating is adjacent to the climbing area and our floor-to-ceiling window overlooks the nature reserve, home to a variety of wildlife. Deer are frequently spotted enjoying their lunch, and if you're lucky you may even spot a badger or fox!
