With Christmas just around the corner, the National Marine Aquarium, situated on Plymouth’s historic waterfront, is the perfect place to escape to an underwater wonderland. When the weather’s looking cold and drizzly this Christmas period, visitors can be warmly welcomed into the festive fun & games that the Aquarium has to offer. You and your family will be able to enjoy some special Christmas crafts and activities throughout your visit.

This year’s Christmas at the Aquarium will focus on ‘Magical Migrations.’ These incredible journeys undertaken by marine animals, just as Santa Claus covers the globe in one special night, many amazing animals undertake miles and miles during their migrations. The Aquarium will be decorated to create a festive feeling with a festive winter trail around the Aquarium for families to work together and find clues to piece together the animal quiz.

Not only that, but visitors attending the 2pm dive show will be visited by a very special VIP – Santa of course! See him diving with the sharks and rays, feeding the fish and grab a sea life selfie with the big man himself.

Christmas at the Aquarium will be running throughout the holidays in December and beyond to the new year. Book your tickets online or at the Aquarium’s front desk. Don’t forget that every ticket comes with an annual pass so you can return as much as you like throughout the year.
