Calstock Arts
Why not bring your group to an evening of entertainment at Calstock Arts. The Old Chapel in Calstock is a beautiful former chapel with wonderful acoustics and an interesting & varied programme or music and film. Local, national and international musicians come from all over the world to perform in our small village in Cornwall, many returning regularly!
From late March to early July, we have folk, jazz & blues, world and classical music plus Robin Nolan singing the songs of George Harrison, children's theatre & a young musician's Big Band. Folk includes Angeline Morrison & Clive Carrol (guitarist) in April, Nick Harper in May and Holly Clarke in June. Cara Dillon is returning to the Old Chapel in late June and David Mitchel closes the summer folk programme. Our world music programme offers fabulous music from Latin America, West Africa, India and the Middle East (March to June) and we have classical music from Mike O'Connor and Levowan in June & July. The Jazz & Blues programme has returning acts such as The Remi Harris Trio & Superlocrian in March & April plus new acts to Calstock Arts such as Adrien Brandeis (May), Connelly Hayes & Isla Krall (June) & BD Lenz (July).
Calstock Arts also has a licence with C-Flym and has monthly films on the first Thursday of the month. Environmental films and talks are also organised regularly so check the website for details.
