Steel Brew Co

For craft beer, try Steel Brew Co at Royal William Yard. The microbrewery is based in the Grade 1* listed Melville building and the taproom serves a range of IPAs as well as signature and one-off beers. You can bring takeaway food from any of the Yard's restaurants along with you.

The Stable

If your dad’s more of a cider fan, say thanks by heading to The Stable at the Barbican for a great variety of still, sparkling and bottled ciders. Our personal favourite is the Flight of Fancy – a selection of five 1/3 pint ciders. Why try one when you can try five?

We recommend grabbing one of the venue’s famous Stable-style pizzas to wash it down with while you enjoy the Insta-worthy harbour views. Ahh.

Bonne Sante 

Bonne Sante's got your Father’s Day covered with a genius bottomless beers and brunch offer. Show Dad how much you appreciate him with 90 minutes of brunching and boozing in the Grade II* Custom House building on the Barbican for maximum brownie points.

Kitty's

For a pint of Guinness, it’s got to be Kitty O'Hanlon’s! Plymouth’s Irish bar is renowned for its Guinness, live music, service and atmosphere, making it a no-brainer and a definite winner.

The Two Bridges Hotel

Planning a Father’s Day walk? Dartmoor National Park’s Two Bridges Hotel is the ideal place to stop for a scenic pint with its stunning riverside setting.
