Walk this way

Head to The Piazza on 18 June for a slice of nostalgia with a live show full of the 80s, 90s and 00s - bright, bold and full of fun.

Expect punk rock cat walks, parkour, voguers, roller disco, breaking, skateboard stunts, and stories of our city, from the perspectives of the millennials!

Walk This Way brings together pro artists plus schools, community groups and local organisations for an entertaining, energetic afternoon of performances.

Take a Snorkel Safari

Don’t miss your chance this summer, to try the incredibly popular Snorkel Safaris, right here in the heart of Plymouth Sound with the Ocean Conservation Trust. Discover the wonders of the Ocean and explore local UK waters.

3 Wishes Fairy Festival

The 3 Wishes Fairy Festival, dubbed the UK’s most magical event, returns to Cornwall in June after a two year pandemic absence. The family and pet friendly event takes place from Friday June 17 to Sunday June 19 at Mount Edgcumbe country estate, near Torpoint and will feature 100s of workshops, talks and performances, a big top circus and music among its attractions (all included in the ticket price).

Plymouth is easily accessible by train with a wide range of services running from a variety of locations within England. Although some services may require a change or two.

Travelling from London takes around 3 hours with Great Western Railway, if you're coming from the north, the trip from Manchester can take 5 hours 15 minutes.

Alternatively, the recently renovated Night Riviera Sleeper service runs Monday – Friday and Sunday evenings. Visit gwr.com/sleeper for more details on times and how to book.

We recommend using GWR.com to search for the fastest and best route for your journey, and book in advance for the best price.
