Wimbledon on the Big Screen returns to Plymouth City Centre this summer! Accompanied by a Padel court, deckchairs and traders selling Wimbledon-themed treats! Check out all you need to know about this year's event.
Where and when is it?
Wimbledon on the Big Screen takes place from 30 June through to 13 July. The event opens at 9am and finishes when the final tennis match ends in the evening.
The Padel courts will be open from 9am to late, with the mornings reserved for school sessions.
What is there to see and do?
Watch live Wimbledon screenings
Every match from the Wimbledon Championships will be shown live on a giant mobile screen at The Piazza, with over 200 deckchairs in a specially enclosed area. Entry is free – just turn up and grab a seat for a classic British summer sporting experience, along with tasty food and drink. Check out the full screening schedule.
Try Padel for free
At the Sundial end of The Piazza, a full-size, enclosed padel court will be open for visitors to try this fast-growing sport, blending tennis and squash. There will be free public sessions, expert demonstrations from top UK padel players, and interactive activities hosted by Plymouth Marjon University and Padel UK staff.
Free sessions for trying padel will be available daily. Book your Padel session via the Playtomic website or download the app on mobile.
Family activities
Visit the Wild Things Play Project - Visit Plymouth stand where the kids can all the family can enjoy some free fun with activities including face painting, arts, crafts and more to be enjoyed for the duration of the tennist Visit the pop up stall on The Piazza and and families can claim a free drinks voucher to use at Drake Circus.

International market on finals weekend (12 and 13 July). New George Street wll host a vibrant international market with global street food and goods.
Watch a pro in action
One of the Uk’s top Padel players will be taking to the court in the city centre. Jake Bewley, who is ranked number 4 in the UK Padel standings, will be playing exhibition matches on Friday 11 July from 7pm until 9pm and then on Saturday 12 July from 11am to 1pm and 6pm to 8pm.
Bewley, who is just 21, has risen through the ranks gaining plaudits for his play and tactical nous. Watch him play and book your free Padel session.
How to get there
Travelling to Plymouth by car
Travelling by car to Plymouth is easily accessible from most locations within the UK.
Most driving routes will bring you onto the M5, which eventually merges to become the A38, bringing you directly to Plymouth. If you cross the Tamar Bridge towards Saltash then you've gone too far.
Drive time from London is around three and a half hours, from Manchester is around four and a half hours and from Cardiff is around two and a half hours.

Car Parks
There are over 50 car parks and more than 5,200 parking spaces in Plymouth. 19 of these car parks are situated in and around the city centre, varying from short term and long term stays.

Bus Travel
There is a variety of bus options you can choose to travel to Flavour Fest in Plymouth.
Plymouth City Council has published a plan your bus journey page together to help find which bus you need to catch, where to catch it from and what time it leaves.
Park and Ride
Stagecoach operate all three park and ride sites in Plymouth; Coypool, the George and Milehouse. Services run from Monday to Saturday (excluding bank holidays) and are every 10 to 12 minutes (can be up to 15 minutes at certain times).

Travelling from outside of Plymouth
All buses from outside Plymouth finish at the Plymouth Coach Station on Mayflower Street, which is only a five-minute walk from Flavour Fest.

Train Travel
Plymouth Train Station is located only a short 10 minute walk from Flavour Fest. Once arrived at the station, please exit and turn right onto Saltash Road, turn left up towards North Cross roundabout, go under the underpass and and turn right towards Plymouth City Centre.
