Not only does it immerse you in the holiday cheer, but it’s also a fantastic opportunity to stock up on Christmas gifts. Fortunately, Plymouth is home to a variety of delightful Christmas markets, making it easy to enjoy the season and shop local!
Plymouth Christmas Market
Plymouth’s Christmas Market is back and better than ever. Returning on 27 November until 21 December, it’s brimming with mouth-watering food and drink and local traders. The Market even has a new look, with 50 wooden chalets, German Bar, a giant snowglobe, and much more.
Festive Good Food & Craft Market
Set in the iconic Melville building in the heart of the Royal William Yard, the festive good food & craft market is a Christmas staple. Taking place on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout December, this market showcases a vibrant selection of local artisan traders. Explore an array of stalls featuring everything from homemade goods and locally brewed beverages to delicious treats and beautifully crafted art. It's the perfect destination for holiday shopping and festive cheer!
Beforehand, why not have a festive meal at a local restaurant? The Hook & Line have a delicious set Christmas menu that is not one to miss.
Christmas Market at the National Marine Aquarium
3 December, 5:30pm-9:30pm
The National Marine Aquarium are hosting their Ocean Friendly Christmas Market! Be greeted with a mulled wine and festive snack on entry, explore sustainable stalls from local businesses, and find special Christmas gifts for your loved ones. Whilst you are there, get involved with a hands-on workshop and learn from a Ranger about how to have a sustainable Christmas.
Christmas Fair at Mount Edgcumbe
13 December, 10am to 3.30pm
Join us at Mount Edgcumbe for their Christmas Fair, a festive weekend filled with holiday cheer. Featuring over 50 artisan food and gift stalls, there is plenty to discover. There is also a variety of festive entertainment such as carol singing.
Tickets must be pre-booked.
