There are plenty of great ways to spend Father’s Day in Plymouth, whether you prefer something relaxed or more active. You could start with a leisurely breakfast or Sunday lunch at one of the city’s many cafés, pubs, or restaurants.

Afterward, head out to explore popular attractions like the National Marine Aquarium, discover exhibitions at The Box, or step into local history at the Mayflower Museum.

If you fancy some fresh air, take a scenic walk along Plymouth Hoe or the South West Coast Path. For a longer route, try the walk from Jennycliff to Heybrook Bay, finishing with a drink or roast at the Eddystone Inn.

For something more interactive, you could plan a fun family activity like an escape room at Escapism Plymouth, a trip to Dartmoor Zoo, or a game at Spinners Plymouth.

Tudor Rose Tearooms & Garden 

Tucked away among the cobbled streets of the Barbican, the Tudor Rose Tearooms offers a charming and traditional setting. Known for their much-loved afternoon teas, they’ll be serving a delicious Father’s Day menu featuring treats such as turkey and herb stuffing sandwiches, roasted tomato and basil quiche, carrot cake, and more. 

If you’d prefer something heartier, their Sunday lunch menu includes options like beef brisket and West Country turkey.  

The Golden Hind
