Plymouth is the tenth best location in the UK for the coverage of superfast broadband, with 97 per cent of addresses covered. Theatre Royal Plymouth is the best attended and largest regional producing theatre in the UK and launches many major productions bound for the West End from TR2 its production site. The largest bronze statue in the UK ‘Messenger’ is outside the Theatre Royal Plymouth. The city is home to its own specialist creative University: Arts University Plymouth.
The Box, Plymouth is home to more than 2 million objects in its unique collections with strategic national partnerships including the Tate, National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery. As a leading regional cultural attraction, it has led on major art installations over many years including Richard Deacon Moor in Victoria Park and Antony Gormley Look: II.
