Local success at the South West Tourism Awards 2023

Plymouth has reason to celebrate as several of its tourism businesses have been recognized at the recent South West Tourism Awards 2023.
The ceremony, held on Thursday 23 March 2023 at the Eden Project, Cornwall, saw a number of Plymouth's businesses come away with prestigious accolades.

The fantastic team at the Plymouth Tourist Information Centre received a Bronze award in Visitor Information Service of the Year category.
Ocean View Bar & Dining at The Dome won Bronze at the Restaurant of the Year award.
The Cottages at Blackadon Farm came away with a stash of four awards: a gold, silver and two bronzes across Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism; Resilience and Innovation; Self Catering Accommodation of the Year and Dog friendly – making them the most awarded tourism business across the whole of the South West this year!
Plymouth Cruise Ambassador Douglass Kerr was also honoured with the Unsung Hero award!
The South West Tourism Awards celebrate the best of the tourism industry across the region, with winners selected based on factors such as customer service, sustainability, and innovation. Plymouth's success at this year's awards is a testament to the city's reputation as a top destination for tourists from across the UK and beyond.
