Pirate crew wanted to make waves at Plymouth Pirates Weekend

Plymouth is gearing up for a swashbuckling spectacle as the highly anticipated Pirates Weekend is set to take place on Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th May.
Returning this year is the daring Pirate Raft Race in aid of the RNLI, a fleet of crews will launch their handmade vessels from the Barbican’s Commercial Wharf, embarking on a thrilling race that promises excitement, creativity, and plenty of pirate spirit.
Each team will take to the water aboard their own uniquely crafted raft, all designed to meet the challenge of being truly sea-worthy.
Pirate crew are wanted to take part by the event organisers Plymouth Waterfront Partnership. The Pirate Raft Race takes place on Sunday 10 May, the second day of Pirates Weekend, at 4pm. Crews can be made up of up to 6 people. Entry costs £10 per person with the proceeds going to the RNLI. Entrants are encouraed to wear pirate attire. Terms and conditions apply.
