About us
March saw the return of Comedy @ Royal WIlliam Yard with incredible sell out shows. We are back at the end of April (28/29th) and are excited to announce a brand new lineup which is sure to have something for everyone!
We have teamed up with Block and will be using their beautiful Melville room for our comedy events. We are also going to be running 2 shows (same line up) back to back on a Friday and Saturday - giving more opportunity for more people to attend.

This month we welcome:
Trevor Lock: Trevor tours the world with his genre defying live comedy happenings.
Before that Trevor starred in all three seasons of BAFTA nominated and British Comedy Award winning Star Stories , both seasons of BBCs TMWRNJ with Lee and Herring and the Steve Coogan produced Brain Candy. As a stand up he's toured with Stewart Lee, Russell Brand and Paul Foot and let his spare room to James Acaster and Josh Widdecombe. He's also addressed The Oxford Union on The Meaning of Life. He runs an ongoing mental health and creativity workshop called Reality Games and a coaching program for comedians of all levels called Joke Hospital.
The Scotsman has described his work as 'Funny, moving and clever.' TimeOut, simply as 'hilarious' and culture website Spoonfed thought he could 'probably win an award for the most laughs in a minute.' London Is Funny wrote "He has a totally unique wellspring of material. In a different class really." The Sunday Times wrote of the 'superbly comic writing' of his plays on the Edinburgh Fringe. Kate Moss simply said "He walks like Dudley Moore and he talks like Peter Cook." Most of his recent shows are now free form improvised "events" or happenings such as Community Circle "the most fun you can have without taking your clothes off." NOT TO BE MISSED
Chelsea Birkby: Chelsea Birkby is a multi-competition finalist (So You Think You're Funny, Leicester Square New Comedian, Bath New Act 3rd Place, New Online Comedian 2nd Place), shortlisted for BBC New Act and "one to watch" Funny Women. Chelsea has performed in top UK clubs (The Stand, Backyard, Komedia, Angel), is a regular at multi-award-winning Jericho Comedy and the Oxfordshire Mind Gala, and was a guest at Cheltenham Literary Festival. She has performed in Paris and in New York and has written for Mock the Week. Her jokes featured in the top 20 jokes of the Edinburgh fringe 2022 in both The Telegraph and The Times and has featured on BBC Radio 4 Extra, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio Scotland and featured on BBC Radio 4 Today Programme. In 2022, she took her debut hour No More Mr Nice Chelsea to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It received the Amused Moose Best Debut Award and was shortlisted for the Comedian's Choice Award for Best Show.
Tom Rodgers: A regular on the South West comedy circuit, now full time comic - a Cornish man armed with great stories and killer jokes. He with tickle your ivories with his tales of Cornish living and poo filled wetsuits.
Hosted by the Anarchic Willtordian Ballorian Edwardian: A Plymouth resident of 5 years, he has built a reputation as an original comic with a number of songs and skits regarding a variety of topics. A warm and lively host.
